Anna (She/They) started receiving an education to become a mountain guide in 2016 and has since guided high altitude mountaineering trips in Alaska, participated in conservation projects in Thailand and the Amazon rainforest, and spent two seasons supporting science with the US Antarctic Program at McMurdo Station. They’re currently going back to school for Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences at CU Boulder with the intent to strengthen their understanding about the places they love, and how earth systems work, as well as to participate in cutting edge research.
They’ve done four polar expeditions in the last two years and in their free time they enjoy moving through hard terrain in the mountains, spending time with friends and family, and all other kinds of type 2 fun.
